Ground Zero Airsoft USA: News

We are planning an Andvanced Series Game for Saturday June 9th at the GZA Outdoor facility. Time will be from 1400-1800 hrs. We will plan later missions if the players have the ambition to go longer.

Please be sure to be in appropriate Uniform. If you have both Woodland and MultiCam, bring both sets. Bring water and food for the duration of the game.

We have several different Fragos to be completed during the course of the day. This is a great time for small squad tactics. With the new villages and heavy undergrowth moving aroung with little to no detection is easly achieved.

-In 1984 a corporation known as Gen-Tek began experimenting a new biochemical weapon in Chernobyl. In 1986 there had been a catastrophic failure in one of the research labs releasing dangerous radioactive chemicals over a widespread area, and forcing the evacuation of the nearby cities and other settlements. This lead to the contamination of Chernobyl. The Ukrainian Government would have to step in to control the situation, making sure nothing was going in or out of the contaminated zone. Many documents and research had been left unfinished. The surrounding villages had mostly become abandoned do to the scare of the exposure to radiation. Some survivors found refuge in the woods, as others that were greatly exposed to the radiation an had become genetically mutated in various degrees. Being quarantined by the government left some people to struggle to survive, as well as attracting stalkers in search of various artifacts left behind by Gen-Tek to make profit. In 2006 the Ukrainians had launched a campaign to reclaim the unfinished research from the city of Pripyat and wipe out any Stalkers in the area with the 501st Infantry and 6th Special Operations Group. This would be the first time they would be entering “The Zone”.

Some of the services and items that we offer are a full Gunsmith service from upgrades of various levels to complete custom builds, High grade and Medium grade Gas and Electris AEG'S, Green Gas and CO2 powered blow back and non blow back handguns, spare magazines, batteries, chargers, internal and external upgrade parts and accessories, Tactical gear and accessories, and the ability to custome order and build the AEG of your choice. We are also Airsoft gamers as well as retailers. We understand the difference between plinking in the back yard and gaming on a competitive level. As of Fall of 2008 we are plased to announce that we have added a 50 acre gaming facility to the venue for the patrons of Ground Zero airsoft USA. The faciltiy is an off site area located less that 5 minutes from the store. Players will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the field.
Some of the items that are required for gaming at the facility are as follows.

A great gaming attitude!!!
Minimum age limit for gaming is 10 years of age with an adult or guardian
A full style paintball mask for players under 18 years of age
Full seal goggles for players over 18
A Red rag or towel to be used as a kill rag during game play
A barrel plug for your AEG

Any players under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a adult. They do not have to play, but be present in the staging or parking area.

We are gaming every Sunday. Please report to the store at 9am for field fee's. Please be to the field by 10:00 for chrono and briefing on the game scenario. Gaming starts at 11am and goes till 5, or the end of the game..

Field limits are as follows, with no exceptions. If you show up to the field with a hot gun,you will not be allowed to play. No exceptions.

400 fps with a .20 bb for aeg's, aep's, and gbb's
500 fps with a .20 for a Sniper or Designated Marksman. No engagement within 100 feet if you are a Sniper or DM.

A walk on donation of $20.00 per player.
Specialty games are per the forum in which they are advertised.
Please remember that these fps limits are not goals, but limits set by our Insurance provider.
