But yeah, Jolly.
There are knife permits. Atleast specified to over the limit that BrokeNYCDE mentioned.
I.e. carrying fixed blades, Pilum, OTF, and dual edged knives.

Isn't that for blades over four inches. Or fixed blades. But then I heard that as long as the blade isn't bigger than your palm you should be fine. Here is what I found when I looked it up.

I have an Italian made Stiletto, a Dalton Cupid Automatic OTF Knife (sold that to a friend), a basic folding knife with a tanto point (forgot the brand) which I had the cutting edge coated in tungsten carbide (it's tough as hell) and a few kitchen and hunting/gutting knifes which I hand forged myself (I'm a beginner black smith and knife smith). Also have a few butterfly knives.

I just bought me a Mech Extreme Stepped blade knife. Thing looks beautiful, even though it was so cheap.
