Hey guys lestor okay-ed a feild clean up for Friday 5/28 so far it's going to be me with a few garbage bags.
I'm looking for people who truely enjoy playing here and understand the feild needs to be kept up to keep playing. As part of playing here it is our duty to maintain the feild and keep it up to great conditions.
The fire base is not an oversized trash can, and piling garbage next to a full trash can means the wind is going to blow it around. Hopefully we can all learn and start to enforce "you bring it, you take it" . . That said, anyone willing to lend a hand Ill be at the feild Friday 5/28 around noon, hope to see you all there to keep our field the best feild! I have PMS and a gun.....any other questions?

Thanks Dylan for helping.
Since it was just the two of us we only covered the parking lot, firebase, and village. It was coverd mostly with bottles and arm band tape and trash from when the ice cream man stopped by. Of course we found a lot of other things along the way. We were only able to pick up the obvious trash and couldnt venture into the woods.
Have to say it sucked knowing only one person came, and he has only gamed once. I know it was a rough time frame for most people but with a little more help we could have gotten the entire field covered.
Now only if people would pick up after themselves to maintain it.

Or ask for people to show up early on a game day and clean up. Noon on a Friday when school is still in session and people are working is never going to pull people out.

that's going to be only slightly less difficult, unfortunately. consider how difficult it already is to get people ready to play at the leisurely hour of 11 o'clock on a sunday
the core problem is that the field need not be treated like a dump, and that's going to have to be drilled into their skulls

We need to institute the same rule that was at Tolcom: If it comes here with you, it comes home, or else you face a firing squad. (I added that last part, it seems pretty fun.)

I truely agree that noon on friday was not a good time frame and expressed that previosuly. I alsp agree that coming before a game will not work as airsoft world has its own time frames (usually an hour behind the rest of the world). However, i think maybe a few people cleaning up after each game will keep the field up. That meaning on the way out just pick up any trash around your car, and possibly a few voulnteers to venture out into the field. I think a quick clean up after each game will prevent us from having to host an entire day just for cleaning up, people will already be on the field, and this will prevent the wind from blowing the trash around the field for an entire week.Hopefully this will work until we have people understanding the concept of picking upo after themselves!

hey i'd be glad to help cleanup anytime you need it this summer and on weekends during the school year. unless i'm out of state, i'll keep checking for cleanup days on the forums and let you guys know that i'll be there. also, when i get some extra money, i coiuld pick up a few paintball masks and give them to the store since i understand you only have like 2 left.
dont judge me by my (lack of) gear or (cheap) guns, i can pull my own weight.
