HMSG and Airsoft International bring the award winning Tour of Duty series to the United States. It's the end of 1968 and US forces are winding down operations in the "Dog's Throat" area of Vietnam. With reports of a POW camp just over the border in Cambodia, FSB Cathy becomes the ideal staging area. The best of each service will be showing up LRRPS, SOG, SEALS, SASR and USGI in order to keep the promise of leaving no one behind. Meanwhile, NVA forces are regrouping after the hard fighting of the previous fall and are planning operations to reopen supply and interdiction lines into South Vietnam.
TOD: LIBC II will immerse you in the sights, sounds, and combat of the Vietnam War. Play as an NVA/VC Soldier/Sapper or USGI/Marine/LRRP/SF/SEAL/SASR. If you attended the first LIBC, In-Country, Silent Sunset or Recondo School then you know what to expect - only better. HMSG events are designed to make you feel like you were there. You will operate within a squad under a chain of command. Squad members will have individual functions (e.g., automatic weapons, rifleman, radio operator, squad leader). Your leaders will be selected from among Recondo and Sapper school graduates and will guide your growth from cherry to grizzled vet. NVA/VC expect a larger role and bigger and better experience that will rival the US side.
Location: Ground Zero Airsoft, Wolcott, CT. See pics of previous events here: LINK
Age: 18+, 15-17 allowed with waiver form signed by both parents and accompanied by guardian.
Physicality: Participants should be in good general health and expect to be fairly tired at the end of each day. Navy Seal are expected to be moderate swimmers and able to operate on little to no sleep. LRRPS are expected to work long durations with little to no resupply and understand that a good LRRP mission means only visual contact with the enemy.
Duration: Attendees must report to camp by 1000 26 June 2010. End of operations is 1700 27 June 2010. The AO is open 25 June 2010 for early arrivals/camping.
Required/Recommended Equipment: Please check the US Infantry Uniform Guide for required equipment as participants will be spending two full days in the field. Navy Seals will also be required to have working UDT Vest or float coats.
Rentals: Uniform rentals are available. Contact Nick Maltby at EMAIL for more details
Camp Conditions: US GP tents will be provided to sleep in at night. Expect to be outdoors for at least 48 continuous hours. We conduct night operations. Be prepared to sleep in the field. NVA/VC will have sleeping areas in their base camps but expect to be continuously operating
Food: Bring enough food for the entire event.
Safety Limits: This event requires all airsoft firearms to shoot 400 FPS or less with .20 gram weight BBs.
Point of Contact: Please email Levi DiFranza/LT Mac at EMAIL for any questions or concerns about this event.
Price: $110
Registration: Registration is open now. Register online at LINK
Website: For more information and to register visit the HMSG website at LINK.
Mercy - unrelated question. I imagine HMSG isn't going to hold OP In Country as it isn't on the HMSG website?

I just caught a mistake on the Registration page. NVA is $85, not $110. Comrade Ho has decided to subsidize the People's Army of Vietnam. Registration has been updated now.
